Shane Lyons showed up at his office Monday morning, not yet 24 hours after returning from a work trip out west for the Cactus Bowl, and flipped through his calendar to get up to speed for what he’d missed and what awaits. “It’s hard to believe the announcement was a year ago,” he said before breaking for lunch. Three-hundred and sixty-five days ago, the Parkersburg product was named West Virginia University’s 12th athletic director.
