USC athletics director Pat Haden collapsed in Heritage Hall on the school’s campus today and was taken to a nearby hospital by paramedics, according to the school. Haden, who announced his resignation as the Trojans’ AD on Feb. 5, effective June 30, has had a series of heart-related health issues in recent years and wears a pacemaker. According to the university, Haden was walking back to his office from an on-campus meeting and felt lightheaded. He sat down outside the main athletic department building and was attended to by department medical staff.
