The University of Minnesota Duluth has given athletic director Josh Berlo a five-year contract extension. Berlo, who came to UMD from Notre Dame in 2013, has come under criticism for his handling of the dismissal of coaches – including head coach Shannon Miller – from the women’s Bulldog hockey team last year.
