Beth Goetz, deputy athletics director and senior woman administrator, will step in as interim athletics director at the University of Minnesota after the sudden resignation of Norwood Teague. According to the University of Minnesota, Goetz, who joined the department in 2013, has played an integral role as one of the department’s senior administrators and served as a top executive in overseeing the department’s 25 sports and annual budget of more than $100 million.
