New UCF athletics director Danny White signed a five-year agreement and will be paid an annual salary of $525,000, according to a memorandum of understanding. Former UCF athletics director Todd Stansbury, who left the school to take the same job at Oregon State, was paid $375,000 a year, according to USA Today’s athletics director salary database. White’s formal contact is still being finalized, but the the two sides signed a letter agreeing to his employment terms. White, who also is a UCF vice president, could receive $50,000 in supplemental compensation for reaching academic and athletic performance goals set by the UCF President John Hitt. The school can also extend White’s contract for two years after a 24-month evaluation period.
