Mike Howland, has been appointed Director of Basketball Operations at Winthrop University, an NCAA Division I program in the Big South Conference. He spent last year in the same role at Missouri State. Howland also spent three years as varsity basketball coach at Saint Viator High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois, where he compiled a 69-19 record, the best three-year record in the school’s history.
