Western Illinois University Interim Director of Athletics Matt Tanney announced Tuesday (Dec. 1) that Haley Jones has been hired as the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance. Jones will rejoin the Leatherneck staff after serving as a Graduate Assistant for Compliance from August 2012 to May 2014. She will head all of the compliance related matters regarding student-athlete eligibility and recruiting among other responsibilities for all 20 sport programs. Jones earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Monmouth College in May 2012, where she also served as the assistant women’s basketball coach for two seasons.
