Head women’s basketball Coach Stephanie McCormick added to her staff with the addition of Tierra Rudd who was previously an assistant coach at Winston-Salem State. Rudd comes to Western Carolina after three seasons as an assistant coach at her alma-mater Winston-Salem State. In 2014-15, Rudd helped assist the Rams to an 11-17 record and a second round appearance in the CIAA Tournament. While at Winston-Salem State she helped coach three players to All-CIAA honors and also assisted with skill development and academic status for student-athletes.
