It may be a little late, but its better than no Audible at all!

Under Construction: Please excuse our mess
One of the more interesting aspects of building College AD is learning our demographic. You guys are an odd bunch. You see, most of the social media advice out there is about reaching a very broad audience, while ours is, well, narrow. There just aren’t a ton of college sports business professionals out there.
One of the things we’ve learned is that you are busy people who like the content brought to you, and in an effort to do that, we may occasionally become repetitious.
@collegead @JeremyDarlow This is a great article and all, but do you really need to send it out 4 of the last 6 days?

Do we need to tweet out each article a half dozen times? We do if we want to get decent traction, but we could probably go about it better. Lesson learned.
Now that is a billion dollar question
How much of an athletics department budget should come from student fees? #HigherEducation #NCAA #StudentFees https://t.co/k4trjbteCu
— Cash Knight (@cashjknight) March 24, 2016
This is a great, but nearly impossible question to answer. As mentioned in the above article, nearly 60% isn’t abnormal, and depending on your own personal mindset, that may be high or about par. Now the challenge, as we’ve mentioned before, is to quantify the actual value of college athletics to the university, and that value will be vastly different for every school.
Now I’m sure some well intentioned PHD candidate will (or likely is) trying to determine the optimal investment from the student body for programs or various sizes. In fact, that would be extremely beneficial as a baseline, but there will never be a hard rule.
Well that’s unfortunate
Despite the plethora of talented female coaches in basketball , this year’s women’s tournament features a tough demographic for some people to accept.

That’s not a good look, is it? But it also isn’t an indictment of the female coaches in women’s basketball. There are a fair number of their male counterparts, and sometimes you just get four of a kind.
You wish is our command
Longtime contributor to out site and former University President Karen Gross wrote an excellent article for us two weeks ago and the feedback has been phenomenal.
Fun exercise to think about…would love to see the same questions/hypotheticals from other presidents/search firms. https://t.co/mT0SC6kS0W

So many people expressed this exact sentiment that would can’t afford to ignore it. Look for more like this soon.
