Wayne State College Director of Athletics Mike Powicki announced that Wildcat head men’s basketball coach Brian Dolan will not be returning for the 2016-17 season. Dolan spent three seasons at Wayne State College after serving seven seasons as head coach at Upper Iowa. While at Upper Iowa, he helped transition the men’s basketball program from NCAA Division III to the Northern Sun Conference and NCAA Division II culminating in a 20-12 record in 2012-13 and the schools’ first-ever trip to the NCAA Division II National Tournament. – Brad Pautsch, KTIV.
