Utah Valley University men’s basketball coach Mark Pope announced the hiring of Bobby Horodyski as the team’s director of basketball operations. Horodyski joins the Utah Valley staff after spending two years as a graduate assistant coach at Wyoming. He helped the Cowboys to a Mountain West Conference title and a trip to the NCAA Tournament last season as the team went 25-10. The Gainsville, Florida native played collegiately at Central Florida from 2011-13 where he played in 10 games and made one start, helping the Knights to a 22-11 record and a trip to the NIT his junior season.
