UWF head women’s basketball coach Stephanie Lawrence Yelton has hired LaQuanda Barksdale Quick as an assistant coach, the school announced Friday. Quick, who spent last season as an assistant coach at Winston-Salem State, will be responsible for coaching post players, working with the defensive game plan and serving as the program’s recruiting coordinator. She replaces Jessie Ivey, who left for a similar coaching position at Bowling Green. Read More.
