University of Tulsa coach Frank Haith has brought in Dave Reiter as the Hurrcane’s new director of basketball operations. Reiter, whose last name is pronounced “writer,” worked with Haith in 2012-14 at the University of Missouri, where Reiter was assistant athletic director for strategic communications. Reiter was director of media relations at Missouri in 2005-11. Between his stints at Missouri, he was the associate athletic director for communications for one year at the University of Houston, where he served as primary contact for the football program and oversaw publicity for all 16 intercollegiate sports. – Kelly Hines, Tulsa World.
