The University of Tulsa has named former Golden Hurricane slugger Crissy Strimple as the school’s sixth head softball coach, Vice President & Director of Athletics Derrick Gragg announced today. Strimple has spent 14 seasons in the Tulsa dugout as a player and coach, including the last eight seasons as the associate head coach. “As a 12-year assistant who has helped build the TU softball program both as a coach and student-athlete, Crissy is the ideal person to take over as head coach,” Gragg said. Strimple mentored the Tulsa infielders and served as the recruiting coordinator in her role as associate head coach. Read More.
