For Grace Calhoun, sport has always been a way of life. She grew up a gymnast and did track and field throughout college. But she never thought her interest in athletics would evolve into a full-fledged career. Before joining Penn as its director of athletics and recreation in 2014, Calhoun worked at a slew of institutions big and small, learning all that has positioned her to be a “star” hire for the Quakers, as President Amy Gutmann has said.
