University of New Mexico men’s basketball head coach Craig Neal has announced the hiring of new Athletic Performance Coach Glenn Cain. Cain comes to New Mexico after five years with the Jayhawks. There he worked with the men’s basketball program, as well as directly working with four other teams. During his time, eight players were selected in the NBA draft, four of which were lottery picks. As the Assistant Sport Performance Coach, Cain was integral to Kansas’ operation, from overseeing the graduate assistant program to helping fundraise over $100,000 for the Sport Performance department.
