Justin Griffith, an assistant basketball coach at Winston-Salem State, is leaving to take a similar position at Mount Olive. “It’s a good opportunity in that sense because I’m very familiar with that school and the conference,” Griffith said. Another reason for making the move is he is engaged to Juannette Roache, and her family is from the Mount Olive area. Griffith, 25, spent two seasons at Mount Olive before his arrival at WSSU.
