Win or lose, Ole Miss has agreed to pay New Mexico State $1.5 million for their college football game at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium this weekend. Which begs a simple question: Why? From the New Mexico State perspective, the game makes perfect sense. For an athletic department with an annual budget that ranges between $18-20 million annually, making almost 10% of that in one afternoon is a no-brainer. But what does Ole Miss get out of the game?
