Kenneth Miles has been named executive senior associate athletic director at the University of Michigan, as announced today (Thursday, Oct. 10) by Warde Manuel, the Donald R. Shepherd Director of Athletics. Miles, who will begin his duties Nov. 4, will lead the athletic department’s Academic Success Program. Miles comes to Ann Arbor following 11 years at Louisiana State University as the assistant vice chancellor and executive director of the Cox Communications Academic Center for Student-Athletes. “I was thrilled to accept the search committee’s recommendation, and I extended an offer to Kenneth Miles to lead our Academic Success Program,” said Manuel.
