Two-time Big Ten Coach of the Year Brenda Frese and the Maryland women’s basketball team recently agreed with Connecticut for the teams to meet in each of the next three seasons. The first matchup of the arrangement will be this December in the 10th annual Maggie Dixon Classic at Madison Square Garden. The Terrapins and the Huskies will tip off in the Maggie Dixon Classic on Monday, Dec. 28 at 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2. Connecticut will come to College Park in the 2016-17 season, with Maryland returning the trip the following season.
