Kentucky native and former Dayton assistant coach Camryn Whitaker has been hired as an assistant coach for the University of Kentucky women’s basketball team, head coach Matthew Mitchell announced Thursday. Prior to Dayton, Whitaker was an assistant coach for one season at her alma mater, Western Kentucky University, while also stopping at Austin Peay for two years and Missouri State for three seasons to begin her coaching career. – Lex18.com.
