Kansas coach Bill Self said the university plans to strongly take on the NCAA and he looks forward to rewriting the narrative on a probe against his program — when the time is right. “We’re going to fight them (the NCAA),” Self told reporters on Wednesday at Kansas’ media day for the 2019-20 season. The Jayhawks received the NCAA notice of allegations late last month accusing the school of major violations tied to recruiting and a responsibility charge leveled against Self, along with a lack of institutional control. “There is still a story that hasn’t been told, and that’s our story,” Self said. -Scott Gleeson, USA TODAY.
