Cal basketball coach Cuonzo Martin has hired Louisville assistant coach Wyking Jones to fill the vacancy on his staff, according to a report in the Louisville Courier-Journal. Jones will replace Jon Harris, who left to become head coach at Southern Illinois-Edwardsville. Cal has made no announcement about the hiring. A 1995 graduate of Loyola Marymount, Jones spent the past four seasons on coach Rick Pitino’s staff at Louisville.
