The renovation and expansion of the University of Alabama’s Mal Moore Athletic Facility was approved Thursday by the Alabama Board of Trustees’ physical properties committee with a new price tag, according to the meeting agenda pages provided to The full board will have the opportunity to vote on the proposal Friday. The new budget calls for a price of a flat $16 Million where it was $16,131,787 when revised over the summer. Before that, it was slated to cost $14.6 Million. The cost of construction fell to $10.28 million from $11.5 million thanks to alternate plans not specified in the agenda listing.
