UNIVERSITY OF NORTHERN IOWA

The University of Northern Iowa has appointed a committee to conduct a national search for a new athletic director. As College AD reported earlier this month, UNI senior vice president of finance and operations Michael Hager will chair the committee. Members of the search committee, in addition to Hager, include: Jerry Harris, former UNI student athlete and current COO of Western Home Communities; Jan Bittner, retired UNI volleyball coach and member of the UNI Foundation Board; Tatiana Rice, current UNI student athlete; Tanya Warren, UNI women’s basketball head coach; John Fritch, dean of the College of Humanities, Arts and Sciences; Elaine Eshbaugh, NCAA faculty athletics representative; and Lisa Baronio, vice president for university advancement. The university plans to utilize the services of a search firm to support the search process. –Read More
