Ivory Latta has decided to resign as an assistant coach for the North Carolina women’s basketball team, UNC head coach Sylvia Hatchell said. Latta coached at UNC for the past two seasons. She played at UNC from 2003-07 and was the national player of the year and a two-time consensus All-American. Selected in the first round of the 2007 WNBA draft by the Detroit Shock, Latta currently plays for the Washington Mystics. She was a WNBA All-Star in both 2013 and 2014. – Herald Sun. Read more.
