Josh Pastner will remain the University of Memphis basketball coach, but in a statement released today the school promises “necessary investments and changes in order that our program may compete at the highest level.” The statement followed a meeting of U of M President M. David Rudd, athletic director Tom Bowen and a committee to review the basketball program after it failed to receive an NCAA or NIT bid for the second straight season.
