The ULM athletic director’s office inside Malone Stadium remains almost untouched from the days when John David Crow’s name was on the door. One thing is definitely long gone from that era — the 1957 Heisman Trophy that Crow kept on his desk. The Heisman isn’t coming back, but ULM is honoring Crow, who died in June, by renovating the athletic director’s office and naming it after him during a ceremony inside the ULM weight room on Saturday at 10 a.m. The university is also endowing the John David and Carolyn Crow scholarship to help fifth-year seniors that are a few credits short of graduation pay for school.
