Returning basketball assistants coach  John Robic and Kenny Payne signed new contracts, which were released by UK’s Office of Legal Counsel, on May 7, 2015. Payne’s contract is a three-year deal that will pay him $650,000 in the 2015-16 season, $700,000 in the 2016-17 season and $750,000 in the 2017-18 season. Robic’s contract is a one-year deal that will pay him $415,000 next season. New full-time assistant Tony Barbee will earn $375,000 from a one-year contract signed on May 18, 2015. All three assistants can earn a $5,000 bonus if the team earns a .950 academic progress rate in a given academic year. – WYKT – Read more.
