The eligibility saga of Kansas freshman Cheick Diallo has stretched on for more than six months and cost the university close to “six figures” in institutional investment, according to a document obtained by The Star on Saturday. The letter — sent from the university to the NCAA on Nov. 10, and signed by athletic director Sheahon Zenger — outlines a list of 19 concerns that the school found with the NCAA’s handling of Diallo’s initial-eligibility case.
