The search for a new University of Illinois athletic director appears to be heading into the home stretch. According to various media reports, finalists are getting in-person interviews this week in Indianapolis. The university announced Dec. 4 it had formed an eight-person search committee, then later said it had hired Korn Ferry, the world’s largest executive search firm, to assist in the process.
