Monté Ross, head coach of the University of Delaware men’s basketball team, has signed a three-year contract, which is his second extension at Delaware, Eric Ziady, director of athletics and recreation services at UD, announced today. Details of the agreement are confidential. Last year Ross was named the CAA Coach of the Year, the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association Clarence (Big House) Gaines Division I Coach of the Year and the National Association of Basketball Coaches UPS District 10 Coach of the Year.
