Mike Petrino has been named the Director of Recruiting and Video for the University of Colorado women’s basketball program, head coach Linda Lappe announced on Thursday. Petrino will manage the sports video operations for the Buffaloes which includes, editing, production and related support for coaches and student-athletes. He will also play a key role in Colorado’s recruiting efforts to maximize connections with recruits, parents and coaches while providing support with video and social media endeavors. Petrino comes to Boulder after spending the last four years as an assistant coach for the Wyoming women’s basketball team. A native of Montana, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education in 1999 from Montana State Billings.
