Athletic Director Jeff Long hasn’t spoken with the media in a while, but that changed Aug. 26 when he held a press conference at the Frank Broyles Athletic Center. Long spoke about various topics ranging from stadium renovations to Ball Park hot dogs. The sound system in Razorback Stadium has been updated as well. The change cost around half a million dollars, but fans will enjoy the new system, Long said. Stadium changes are not the only changes occurring within Arkansas football. The Razorbacks will no longer be selling Petit Jean hot dogs. Instead, they will be selling Ball Park hot dogs. Arkansas will also be broadcast on SEC Nation for the first game against the University of Texas-El Paso. “From my perspective, we are solid through 2018,” Long said. “Nothing new from my end.” -Tye Richardson, The Arkansas Traveler, Read More
