UAB announced Mark Ingram as its next athletic director in a late-night Friday email release. Ingram arrives in Birmingham after serving as the executive senior associate athletics director at Temple. He has deep roots in the south, having played football and worked at Tennessee. He’s also spent time at Georgia and Missouri. Ingram was one of the three finalists identified by the 19-person search committee and Parker Executive Search.
