Thomas University Athletic Director Mike Lee announced that former Chipola men’s basketball player and assistant coach, Brent Crews is set to become the men’s basketball coach at Thomas University in Thomasville, Ga. Crews joins the Night Hawks after a three-year stint at the University of San Francisco as a video coordinator and assistant coach. Crews, a native of Chipley, FL, was an influential force on the basketball court at Chipley High School and Chipola. As a point guard and captain, Crews assisted Chipola to consecutive state and NJCAA Regional VIII championships under head coach Jake Headrick.
