Before being named Texas A&M athletic director, Ross Bjork’s closest association with the Aggies had been as AD of a division rival. Since coming to College Station from Ole Miss on July 8, one of Bjork’s priorities has been to proactively seeking out as many people at A&M as possible – not just big donors but all kinds of groups and organizations. He has been far more accessible than predecessor Scott Woodward, who preferred to stay behind the scenes. “One of the things that I’ve learned about Aggies is that they love their university to the point it’s close to being unconditional,” Bjork said in an interview Tuesday, just after his 100-day anniversary on the job. “I’ve been really impressed with that because that equates to spirit and passion and the ability to help and wanting to help and the willingness to help.” -Chuck Carlton, The Dallas Morning News.
