Erlease Wagner, Syracuse’s director of compliance for part of the time that the men’s basketball team was found to violated NCAA rules, will leave the university this fall. The university confirmed Wagner’s impending departure in an email. Kevin Quinn, the Senior Vice President for Public Affairs at Syracuse, said that Wagner’s departure is her decision and was not related to the NCAA investigation. He said she will remain at the university until “sometime in the fall.” Wagner has served as Syracuse’s director of compliance since August 2006.
