Jeff Johnson spent the past six years watching the Southwestern Oregon Community College women’s basketball team while serving as an assistant coach for the men’s squad. Next season, Johnson will be coaching the women, replacing Mike Herbert, who resigned that post to focus on his role as athletic director. Johnson coached high school basketball for three years in Colorado before coming to the South Coast.
