Deb Duren, vice president for student services and athletics director at Stephens College, announced her retirement Wednesday after 31 years of service. Duren’s time at Stephens began when she became the head coach of the volleyball team in 1984. Four years later, the athletics department was shut down, but Duren remained as a faculty member and chair of the Physical Education Department. – Michael Tish, Missourian. Read more.
