A new era in St. Gregory’s University women’s basketball began Thursday with the hiring of Jenone Bell as head coach. Bell was an assistant this past season for the Cavaliers and takes over for Josiah White, who led the program for two years. Bell brings nearly 20 years of coaching experience to Shawnee. She came to St. Gregory’s after serving three seasons as the head coach at Southern University-Shreveport. Bell was an assistant at Lindenwood (Mo.) University and Lincoln (Mo.)
