If Tim Kenney being honest, there is plenty the St. Bonaventure athletic director could be doing. Even on a slow day, things are happening in that athletic department and in the Reilly Center. AMIDST the noise of a hundred or so summer basketball campers emanating from the main court, Kenney shares what he envisions:A recruit, perhaps a swimmer or lacrosse player, who sees the improvements to the RC and associates it with big-time Division I athletics; a really cool Bona basketball game-day atmosphere. The enhancements, both indoor and outdoor, have already been helping. Kenney said that next year, the school is expected to have some 270 athletes enrolled, around 30 more than their next highest previous total. Many of those will be tuition-paying students. – J.P.
