South Carolina State assistant women’s basketball coach Ashley Walker announced Wednesday that she has accepted the head women’s basketball coach position at Wiley College in Marshall, Tex. Walker spent three seasons with the Lady Bulldogs and helped the team to an impressive 20-9 record in her first season in Orangeburg. She came to SC State after spending seven seasons (2005-2012) as an assistant coach at Angelina College in Lufkin, Tex. During her time there, the team compiled went 135-81.
