Last week Sources told College AD, the Santa Clara AD search was down to three finalists. We had heard former Marquette Athletic Director Larry Williams was in the mix, which is now fully confirmed.  According to multiple sources, the candidates for athletic director are UC Irvine athletic director Mike Izzi, Syracuse deputy athletic director Renee Baumgartner and former Marquette athletic director Larry Williams. All three interviewed on campus last week. The decision is now in the hands of Santa Clara president Michael Engh and could come as early as this week.
