Saint Louis University Director of Athletics Chris May has announced that head women’s basketball coach Lisa Stone, who guided the 2015-16 Billikens to unprecedented success, has signed a long-term contract extension. The 2015-16 season saw Saint Louis (26-8, 13-3 A-10) earn a share of its first conference championship and reach the Women’s National Invitation Tournament third round. The Billikens set school records for total wins, conference wins, overall winning percentage, conference winning percentage, home wins and road wins.
