Bill Engel is taking over Rainy River Community College’s head coaching position next season after coaching boys basketball for 19 years – 14 of those years as head coach – at Griggs County Central High School in Cooperstown, N.D. Engel noted his background also includes being a point guard and playing four years of college basketball, having first played at Mesabi Range Community and Technical College before completing his college basketball career at Valley City State University, where he earned a degree in biology/education and also set a single-season record for 3-point shooting percentage.- Kevin Boneske, IFalls Journal Read More.
