Rice first-year head women’s basketball coach Tina Langley completed her staff Monday by hiring former A&M point guard Sydney Colson who had been the Aggies’ video coordinator. “I grew up in Houston so I’m aware of Rice’s national academic prestige,” Colson said in a school release. “Hearing coach describe her vision for the women’s basketball program has me convinced that something special will take place here in the coming years.
