Details of Purdue women’s basketball coach Sharon Versyp’s two-year contract extension were released Tuesday by the university. The school announced Versyp’s extension June 6. ersyp’s received a $6,500 salary increase, raising her annual guaranteed compensation to $603,525 (not including an automobile allowance, country club membership, complimentary tickets, golf pass) before bonuses. The buyout remains unchanged. Currently, Versyp’s buyout sits at 24 months but when Morgan Burke no longer holds the title of vice president and athletic director, the buyout is automatically reduced to 12 months.
