Season ticket sales for Purdue football continue to move upward. The Boilermakers remain ahead of last year’s pace by about 1,400 tickets and are in a position to post their best numbers since 2013. Purdue has sold 21,500 season tickets for the 2019 season as of Wednesday, including more than 3,900 in new sales. The Boilermakers open the home portion of their schedule Sept. 7 against Vanderbilt, the start of three straight matchups at Ross-Ade Stadium. “They’re going really well,” athletic director Mike Bobinski said Tuesday at the Boilers on the Road event at Topgolf. “I know we’re in a really good place and we’re continuing to sell new tickets and I feel good where we are.” -Mike Carmin, Lafayette Journal & Courier.
