The final salary numbers are in for Purdue’s assistant football coaching staff. The athletic department is scheduled to spend a combined $3.535 million on the 10 assistant coaches and another $245,000 in base salary for Greg Brohm, the program’s executive director of football administration and operations/chief of staff. Brohm’s salary is included in head coach Jeff Brohm’s coaching salary pool. For the 2019 season, Jeff Brohm will use $3.78 million of the allotted $4.35 million pool spelled out in his new seven-year contract. The salary figures for all the assistants were made available to the Journal & Courier through an open records request.   New tight ends/assistant special teams coach Ryan Wallace’s base salary is $150,000 and his contract run through Dec. 31, 2019. He’ll receive the same performance bonuses as the other assistant coaches. Wallace and Kevin Wolthausen, who oversees special teams and is an assistant defensive line coach, are operating on one-year contracts. The other eight assistants have two-year contracts, which run through Dec. 31, 2020. – Mike Carmin, jconline – Read More
